Saugus is another large city within the city of Santa Clarita. Some areas in Saugus are actually part of LA County rather than Santa Clarita city "proper". Saugus can be reached from Valencia and from Canyon Country. Unless you are looking at a map, it is a little more difficult to explain its locale, but it is between Valencia and Canyon Country in essence. Saugus is also a mix of newer & older homes. It also has several great smaller boutique stores as well! Since the cities are all connected, one is never far from anything one needs! Another great place one can find in Saugus is Central Park which is a lovely HUGE park with its own "Central Bark" where your pooch can roam free "sans" leash! Another very nice thing about SOME of the areas in Saugus is that you can actually find homes with NO HOA (home owners association)!
